Jeremy Dugger Jordan PhD, CRNP, CPNP-AC, CCRN, CNE, FAANP
Dr. Jordan is an assistant professor and co-coordinator of the acute care pediatric NP track at University of Alabama at Birmingham, as well as a pediatric NP in the pediatric ICU at Children’s of Alabama. As an NP, leader, educator and researcher, Dr. Jordan’s career has focused on the care of acutely ill and injured children, educating the future PNPs who will care for our nation’s diverse children and researching brain injury. He has disseminated his work on nurse practitioner education, the care of acutely ill and injured children, the care of LGBTQ+ children and pediatric brain injury in over 20 peer-reviewed articles and at over 24 conferences. Dr. Jordan’s excellence has been recognized with numerous awards such as the NAPNAP Presidential Commendation in 2022 and 2023; the 2021 National Organization of Nursing Practitioner Faculties Outstanding Poster Presentation Award; and the 2024 Dean’s Award for Faculty Diversity, Equity and Inclusion.
