Dr. Leon Chen, a board-certified Adult/Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner, specializes in critical care medicine, and is a Diplomate of Critical Care Ultrasonography from the American College of Chest Physicians.
An advocate for point of care ultrasonography in critical care, Dr. Chen has published over 60 peer-reviewed articles, book chapters, and abstracts. He serves on the Critical Care Nursing Quarterly editorial board and is an Associate Editor for the Journal of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. Dr. Chen is a sought-after speaker at institutional, regional, and national forums, including the Society of Critical Care Medicine’s annual congress.
