Susanne Astrab Fogger DNP, CRNP, PMHNP-BC, CARN-AP, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Fogger is a psychiatric nurse practitioner focused on helping people affected by addictive and co-occurring disorders. She is a dedicated educator and clinician with more than 40 years of experience. A veteran of the USAF Nurse Corps,she served as co-director for the very first Veterans Administration Nursing Academy Partnership for Graduate Education for psychiatric nurse practitioners. Thus far she has educated over 200 psychiatric nurse practitioners in rural and underserved areas in the Southeast and promotes integrated behavioral health for people living with HIV in her faculty practice. She has been instrumental in expanding education on opioids across the curriculum with the UAB SON.
