Jessica Pelkowski DNP, APRN, AGPCNP-BC, ONP-C, FNAON, FAANP
Ms. Pelkowski is a nurse practitioner in the department of orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic in Jacksonville, FL. She has demonstrated dedication to advancing the nurse practitioner profession, improving patient outcomes and contributing to improvements in patient education delivery and practice model reform in total joint arthroplasty. She has been involved in mentoring nurse practitioner students and new graduates, medical students and residents as an associate in orthopedic surgery at Mayo Clinic. In addition to the accolades Ms. Pelkowski has received for her work at Mayo Clinic, she received the Orthopaedic Nursing Journal's Nan Hilt Writers Award for the article "Polypharmacy After Elective Orthopaedic Surgery." She was also the recipient of a scholarship from the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses in conjunction with the Orthopaedic Nurses Certification Board for her orthopaedic nurse practitioner certification (ONP-C). Pelkowski has achieved the designation Fellow of the National Association of Orthopaedic Nurses (FNAON).
