Blanca Iris Padilla PhD, MBA, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Blanca Iris Padilla is an Assistant Professor at the Duke School of Nursing and a family nurse practitioner. She has been providing care to the underserved population for nearly 16 years. She completed a successful HRSA-ANE grant that led to the development of the first Diabetes/Endocrinology Specialty for NP students in the country, created academic-practice partnerships that provided unparalleled clinical training to NP students from diverse backgrounds in federally qualified health centers and specialty clinic across the country, and connected hundreds of national/international preceptors with ongoing education/training using an innovative web platform. Her dedication to NP education and practice demonstrates her commitment to the NP profession and patient health outcomes.
