Minna Kristiina Miller DNP, MSN, BA, RN, FNP-BC, NP(F), FAANP, FNPAC
Dr. Minna Miller is a Family Nurse Practitioner in Vancouver, Canada. She holds a faculty appointment at the University of British Columbia. She is a pioneer in NP led primary care pediatrics and is transforming pediatric asthma care through the implementation of best practice guidelines, standardization of asthma care across settings and disciplines, collaborative consultations, direct care, preceptorship, presentations, and research. Dr. Miller is a founding executive board member of the BC Pediatric Asthma Network. She leads the Nursing/Allied Health Advisory to the Centre for International Child Health at BC Children's Hospital. She is passionate about advancing the NP role and the profession and has worked to that end in leadership roles with the College of Registered Nurses of BC, BC NP Association, and serves on Ministy of Health Expert panels for Primary Care Transformation in BC. Beyond Canada she is an active member of the AANP International committee/SIG, and is the Project Coordinator for the ICN NP/APN Network, an dpast Co-Chair of the Health Policy subgroup. She is a contributing author for the Anglophone Africa APN coalition project proposal submitted to WHO in 2018, and a member of the AFRO-PHC forum.
