Rebekah Joy Stewart MSN, MPH, APRN, FAANP
Rebekah J. Stewart, MSN, MPH, APRN, FAANP is a Family Nurse Practitioner and Epidemiologist at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. Her work, which has spanned six countries, focuses on infectious disease applied research, outbreak investigations, response to public health emergencies, and developing expert clinical guidance. She has published over 20 peer-reviewed manuscripts and is a frequently invited guest lecturer at Emory University. In graduate school, she was awarded Outstanding Graduating MSN Student and at CDC has accrued several Public Health Service Awards including the Outstanding Service Medal for her work at the White House during the COVID-19 Pandemic. She is also pursuing a PhD in nursing focusing her research on improving tuberculosis care for immigrants in the U.S.
