Katie Brooke Andersen DNP, ACNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Andersen is the director of Advanced Practice Education and the Advanced Practice Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Maryland Medical Center and R Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center. She launched an APP Critical Care Fellowship in 2012, graduating 26 fellows with an 87% retention rate. Dr. Andersen has developed and led multidisciplinary courses for over 1,000 learners in critical care, ECMO, ultrasound and procedures. Her accolades include University of Maryland APP of the Year, SCCM Presidential Award, Shock Trauma Hero Award and APP Presentation of the Year. Most recently, Dr. Andersen was accepted as a fellow of the American College of Critical Care Medicine.
