Lisa Muirhead DNP, APRN, ANP-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Lisa Muirhead is a Professor at Emory University where she serves as the VA Nursing Academic Partnership program director. She is a recognized nursing leader and has forged local, national and international partnerships to establish innovative programs to improve access/use of health care services among vulnerable populations, and grow the APRN workforce. She has used national and international platforms to articulate NPs vital role in transforming health care. Dr. Muirhead has received several awards of excellence in advance nursing practice and education. She has contributed to national policies/guidelines through her work with CDC and invitational VA HepC National Think Tank.
