Annette Jakubisin Konicki PhD, APRN, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, FAANP, FAAN
Dr. Annette Jakubisin Konicki is Professor of Nursing, and Associate Dean of Graduate Studies at the University of Connecticut. Dr. Jakubisin Konicki, a 20-year nursing educator, is transforming care for the underserved through better preparation of the APN workforce by integrating her interests in primary prevention, health promotion, and interprofessional education. She maintains an active primary care practice and serves as consultant and presenter for a regional health department and professional advisory boards. She is active with NONPF, a former member of the NONPF Executive Committee, an AACN’s 2017 Leadership in Academic Nursing Programs Fellow and selected as Fellow, American Association of Nurse Practitioners in 2018. In 2021 she was inducted as a Fellow of the American Academy of Nursing.
