Daniel E Wesemann, DNP, MSW, PMHNP-BC, APRN has extensive expertise as a nurse educator and director of a PMHNP-DNP program. As an educator he has been awarded the Daisy award in 2021 and is a strong advocate for keeping the skill of psychotherapy within the role of the PMHNP. Dr Wesemann is also an accomplished author and speaker on the care of patients with pediatric bipolar disorder and other pediatric psychiatric disorders and continues to strive to improve the quality of care in this population. Dr Wesemann continues to be sought after for his expertise in providing psychiatric-mental health care to all NPs and advancing the role of the NP within the US Healthcare system.
