Virginia Moore DNP, WHNP-BC, FAANP
Ginny Moore DNP, WHNP-BC is a Professor of Nursing at Vanderbilt University School of Nursing and serves as Academic Director of the Women’s Health Nurse Practitioner specialty. For over 30 years, Dr. Moore’s clinical and education careers have focused on vulnerable populations, particularly individuals experiencing sexual violence. She pioneered novel NP-led clinical delivery models by establishing two clinics serving vulnerable communities, developed comprehensive multi-disciplinary team training models for Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners, and increased the number of practicing Sexual Assault Nurse Examiners in rural areas across the nation. Ginny’s expertise and efforts in clinical practice and education have been recognized by state, national, and international awards.
