Jemma Ayvazian DNP, ANP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Jemma Ayvazian, DNP, ANP-BC, AOCNP, FAANP is a National Director of Nursing Education at the Department of Veterans Affairs. In this role, she is responsible for managing all VA academic nursing education programs, including more than 25,000 nursing trainees annually. She served multiple roles at the Veterans Health Administration, with both clinical and administrative responsibilities. First, at the Bedford VA medical facility. Then as a Pain Management and Traumatic Brain Injury Nurse Practitioner and Program Coordinator in the Polytrauma Clinic at the Dayton VA. More recently, she assumed clinical and program coordination responsibilities in the Washington DC VA Oncology Clinic. Dr. Ayvazian received numerous performance, academic excellence, and achievement awards during her career.
