Leslie Ann Parker PhD, APRN, FAAN, FAANP
Dr. Leslie Parker is an Associate Professor at the University of Florida College of Nursing and a Neonatal Nurse Practitioner at UFHealth Shand’s Children’s Hospital. Dr. Parker’s research and practice goals address strategies to improve the nutritional outcomes of critically ill infants in the neonatal intensive care unit to optimize their growth and development. She has been awarded over $4.2 million dollars by the National Institutes of Nursing Research to lead multidisciplinary investigative teams to develop interventions to improve the health of critically ill infants. Her work has been widely disseminated in publications and both international and national presentations.
