Tanya Renee' Sorrell PhD, PMHNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Sorrell is an associate professor of psychiatry at Rush University Medical College, and director of Rush’s Substance Use Center of Excellence. Her policy and clinical work has served thousands of rural anurban under-served populations with best outcomes in substance use management and overdose prevention care in an equitable and culturally responsive model. She is a consultant and the past principal investigator of a $5 million state-wide Colorado Legislative funded Medication Assisted Treatment (MAT) Services Program. Her publication record reflects her interests in increasing cultural humility behavioral outcomes in graduate clinical providers.
