Dr. Denise Schentrup is an FNP with outstanding service to the NP profession. She is a visionary leader and advocate for NP-led interprofessional health care. Her commitment to rural health and improving access to care is evident in her clinical practice and leadership. She is driven to provide quality health care and educate future health professionals about care delivery in vulnerable populations. Dr. Schentrup is a Fellow in the Duke Johnson and Johnson Nurse Leadership Program and the recipient of the AANP State Award for Excellence.
