Ann-Marie Brown, PhD, CPNP-AC/PC, CCRN, CNE, FCCM, FAANP, FASPEN is a Clinical Professor and Director of the Acute Care Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program at Emory University, and Director of Online Learning and Engagement. She also has an appointment as a Nurse Scientist at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Her background is as a Pediatric ICU NP, where she has served in leadership roles from the unit to international level, including ground breaking NP representation in key leadership positions. She is an innovative educator, launching the first ACPNP program in her home state of Ohio and continuously pursues cutting edge educational approaches such as the use of social media to engage students in real-time global networking. Her awards and honors include a Distinguished Alumni, Fellow of the American College of Critical-Care Medicine, and Faculty Mentor Awards.
