Laima Maria Karosas PhD, APRN, FAANP
Dr. Laima Karosas is Chair of the Graduate Nursing Program at Quinnipiac University and practices telehealth with Lemonaid Health. She has educated nurse practitioners for over 25 years and incorporated all aspects of NP practice into education, including practice models, coding and reimbursement and health policy. Dr. Karosas has advocated for nurse practitioners as the Connecticut State Representative and then Region 1 Director for AANP. She established the Health Policy Committee and provided a means for succession for the CT APRN Society. Dr. Karosas has received numerous awards and recognition including the AANP NP Excellence award for Connecticut in 2016.
