Laima Maria Karosas PhD, APRN, FAANP
Dr. Laima Karosas practices telehealth with Curai Health and is Clinical Professor Emerita at Quinnipiac University. She has educated nurse practitioners for over 25 years and incorporated all aspects of NP practice into education, including practice models, coding and reimbursement and health policy. Dr. Karosas has advocated for nurse practitioners as the Connecticut State Representative and then Region 1 Director for AANP. Dr. Karosas has received numerous awards and recognition including the AANP NP Excellence award for Connecticut in 2016 and was inducted into the Fellows of the American Association of Nurse Practitioners the following year. She received a Fulbright Scholar Award and spent six months teaching and researching scope of practice for advanced practice nurses in Lithuania during spring 2025.
