ANGELA CHIACHEN CHEN PhD, PMHNP-BC, FAANP
Dr. Angela Chia-Chen Chen is an Associate Professor at Arizona State University. As a PMHNP, her passion is to promote patients’ mental and behavioral health through accessible, equitable, and patient-centered care. As a leader in research addressing mental and behavioral health disparities, her work has improved patient outcomes and informed NP practice and teaching. Her clinical and research expertise has been widely recognized, as evidenced in her service as an expert reviewer for federal grants and top-tier journals, and consultant for PMHNP education and training. She has received numerous awards, including an award to co-lead a multi-national group consisting of transdisciplinary scholars and practitioners to address ethical, methodological, and empirical gaps related to COVID-19.
