Margaret Mckeever Mccarthy PhD, RN, FNP-BC, FAANP
Margaret M. McCarthy, PhD, RN, FNP-BC, FAANP is an assistant professor at the New York University (NYU) Rory Meyers College of Nursing where she also obtained her PhD. Dr. McCarthy joined NYU in 2015 after completing a post-doctoral fellowship at the Yale School of Nursing. Her expertise stems from her background as a nurse practitioner and exercise physiologist. Dr. McCarthy is a Fellow of the American Heart Association (AHA), the New York Academy of Medicine and the American Academy of Nursing. She has held leadership positions in the AHA and Eastern Nursing Research Society. At NYU, she has served as co-chair of the PhD admissions committee and the chair of the Precision Health Research Collaborative.
