Jessica Lynne Spruit DNP, CPNP-AC, CPHON, BMTCN, FAANP
Dr. Jessica Spruit is a pediatric acute care nurse practitioner who practices at C.S. Mott Children's Hospital in Ann Arbor, MI. She has clinical expertise in pediatric blood and marrow transplantation and palliative care. She is a champion for the early integration of palliative care for all eligible children and families. Dr. Spruit has collaborated with interprofessional colleagues to evaluate the impact of palliative care services on children, adolescents, and young adults with cancer. Dr. Spruit was integral to the development of the pediatric acute care nurse practitioner program at Wayne State University where she served as an Associate Professor (Clinical) and graduate specialty coordinator. She has served in several leadership roles within the National Association of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners, Michigan Council of Nurse Practitioners Metro-Detroit Chapter, and Association of Faculties of Pediatric Nurse Practitioners.
