Tracey R Bell DNP, APRN, NNP-BC, CHSE, CNE-cl, C-ELBW, FAANP
Dr. Bell is an associate professor, serving as the coordinator of the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner Program at the University of Pittsburgh School of Nursing. Her scholarly work is advancing the global neonatal workforce and emphasizing the expansion of nursing roles — with a focus on the integral role of the advanced practice nurse and scope of practice. Dr. Bell is contributing to the growing body of literature on the lack of diversity in the neonatal workforce through impactful research and publications. Her contributions have been recognized with the National Organization of Nurse Practitioner Faculty (NONPF) Outstanding Scholar Award; the National Association of Neonatal Nurses (NANN) APRN Excellence Award; and the Academy of Neonatal Nursing (ANN) Excellence in Neonatal Nursing Award-Nurse Practitioner.
