Lori Angeleene Modly DNP, RN, CPNP-PC, FAANP
Dr. Modly currently serves as an assistant clinical professor at Emory University’s Nell Hodgson Woodruff School of Nursing and program director for the Nursing Excellence through Scholarship and Technology (NEST) initiative. Her work in pioneering service-learning projects and utilizing innovative technology in nursing education has transformed how nurse practitioner students engage with evidence-based practice and address real-world challenges, including increasing access to care for vulnerable communities in metro and rural Georgia. Dr. Modly has also led the NEST program, which enhances NP education by providing comprehensive academic support to improve student success, ultimately preparing nurse practitioner students to excel in high-stakes clinical environments. Dr. Modly's achievements have earned her recognition, including the Provost Excellence in Graduate Education, as well as the 2023 Excellence in Innovation Award from Emory University.
